Crosswinds B&B Suites - Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Quotes Very personable couple; waited for and welcomed us after a 6-hour drive in a pounding rainstorm. Helpful with tips and directions for our time at the Cape. Cottage was clean, private, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a well-stocked fridge, coffee, etc. Short walk to a beautiful overlook; easy access to beaches due to proximity to Rte. 6. Some highway noise due to this. Quotes

Quotes Our stay at the studio was lovely, both for location and amenities provided by Andrea and Ron. They were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The studio's comfortable and well-equipped and was so nice to come home to after our full days of being out in the trails and beaches of that beautiful area. It's my favorite location on the Cape. Andrea was very generous with the varied breakfast foods they offer and made special effort to comply with a few dietary restrictions. (The special breads were yummy!) We'll definitely stay here the next Cape Cod trip. from Lancaster, PA Oct. 12-16, 2014 Quotes

Quotes

Quotes We could not have been happier at the cottage in Cape Cod. It was a sanctuary having spent the previous week in New York. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Cape Cod... Andrea and Ron were great hosts. We only saw them when we arrived and on our last night but they were very helpful and supplied delicious homemade bread and everything we needed for breakfast. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas including watching the sunset on the nearby beach and whale watching in Provincetown, plus so much more. We were sad to leave and hope to return soon. Quotes Andrea and Ron were so wonderfully welcoming . We could not have asked for more information about the surrounding area. The location is great, just a short walk to an easy trail in the Cape Cod National Seashore with lovely views and wildlife (we saw bunnies and deer on our evening walk and our 3-year-old was ecstatic). It's also an amazing deal for the location and space. The place is nice and roomy at a good price and they leave you loads of food for a big hearty breakfast- the works. There is a good bit of traffic noise from Highway 6 in the backyard, but you can't hear it in the house at all, even with the windows cracked. The yard space was great. We were able to put our son down for the night and go out back to play cards. The sweetest part, though, was Andrea thoughtfully finding some "Jack" stickers and leaving them for our son. We will definitely be back. Quotes

Quotes Con't. from Pt 1...We wish we had taken the time to visit more with these nice, thoughtful people. Our hosts shared a wealth of knowledge about the restaurants and activities available. We had such a wonderful week. We enjoyed the Fort Hill, Wellfleet, and Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary hiking trails. Many hours were spent relaxing on Coast Guard, Nauset and Head of The Meadows Beaches. Twice we watched the sunset at First Encounter Beach. Beautiful! We enjoyed the Academy Playhouse in Orleans for a live play. We went whale watching from P-town and saw about 10 whales during an expertly guided tour. Exceptional! While back on land at the south end of Coast Guard Beach we encountered hundreds of Grey seals getting their rest on a sand bar. We stayed with them (at a proper distance ) until the tide moved them on their way. Our favorite restaurant was the South African, Karoo in Eastham. Kudos to Andrea and Ron for being perfect hosts. We had a wonderful stay! Quotes

Part Two

Quotes Ron and Andrea are very welcoming hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at their beautiful cottage. They have thought of and provided everything one would need for a special time on the Cape, for example beach towels, beach mats, and chairs. Andrea provided homemade egg bread and mouth watering banana bread. We enjoyed a complementary jar of homemade Beach Plum Jelly. We loved the manner in which they provide breakfast foods: stocking and restocking the refrigerator as needed and we cooked our breakfast when the time was right for us. The information in the listing was accurate in every way. Continued... Quotes

Quotes Our stay at Crosswinds was a very short one (just 2 nights) but it really made us want to come again ! Andrea was very thorough in her welcome... we knew in minutes all about the nice things (places, restaurants, etc...) we could do during our stay ! The room was very cosy for a party of 3 (Nice tv and kitchenette also) ! Andrea had prepared a delicious 'egg bread' for us for breakfast ... that was so nice ! Thank you ! We also met Ron, a very nice and chatty man... although we didn't chat for long, we could feel that they both genuinely cared for their guests ! The Cape is a magical place for beaches, trails, etc... and the little towns on the way are very quaint (Provincetown is a must if you like to shop !). So a big thank you to Andrea and Ron for their little haven in Eastham and their warm welcome and looking forward to meeting you again someday... who knows ?
