Crosswinds Suites - Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Outer Cape Cod Private Suites

This AirBNB is a perfect location in the Cape! It’s quiet, picturesque and close enough to other areas for day trips. The Rail Trail is less than a mile away and both the bay beaches and national sea shore are a bike ride away,

Wonderful location, easy access to many Cape Cod attractions. Great hosts, greeted us on arrival and so easy to communicate with.

We enjoyed our stay and used the grill and patio everyday. We really loved the proximity to Fort Hill, Orleans and the National Seashore. The property is cozy and comfortable. A great deal.

Ron and Andrea’s place was perfect for our week long stay for our anniversary. The location is fantastic for access to Cape locations from Provincetown to Mid-Cape. And the Fort Hill area, right up the street, was absolutely lovely to explore. The cottage provided a comfortable home for our get away!! Having a kitchen and outdoor space really made for a convenient and relaxing stay.

We enjoy our week long stay the crosswind cottage. The location is great for an action packed week we had planned for this trip. The kayak launch at Salt Pond and Hemingway were less than 10min away. Some of the best beaches on the cape are also a short drive away. The best part is both ocean and bay side beaches are accessable, so both sun rise and sunset are covered. Up the Fort Hill parking lot is a great spot for star glazing. bring a tripod or telescope for milky way or stars. Local police do stop by check up at night they are cool with photographers. We've stayed at many different spots at the cape, and Eastham during off season may become our favorite destination.

The wee cottage is immaculate, has every kitchen tool and gadget you can think of, a big outdoor area with grill and even the futon bed is comfortable! Andrea’s brilliant landscape photography brightens the walls and lures you on to your next exploration. Ron and Andrea responded instantly to any question we had and anticipated our desires before we knew what they were. We felt spoiled.

“We had a 2-night stay in mid-September. Studio is a big space with everything you might need in one room, and a separate small bathroom with good shower. Andrea has thought of all kinds of small things that you could find useful. Fridge had some complimentary soft drinks, fruit, milk & yoghurt. Also dry cereals and a loaf of fresh, bread-machine bread and a jar of locally-made beach-plum jelly. We didn't do any proper cooking, but the kitchen area had everything we needed, even teapot and espresso coffee maker. The studio is close to the main road, but the windows seem good enough to block that out effectively so it was not an issue for sleeping. Fort Hill is a great location with a great walk right from the door, as well as being a good base for the Wellfleet/Eastham/Orleans area (and beyond). Good value and we would definitely have no hesitation in staying again.”

Ron and Andrea's place was just what we were looking for, in an unexpectedly great location just off Route 6 and a stone's throw from Fort Hill. It was extremely comfortable for a couple, and the kitchen was superbly stocked with breakfast food. We are thankful to them for putting the second "B" back in B & B. Parking was a cinch, too. Although the property description mentioned proximity to Route 6 and possible traffic noise concerns at times, we didn't really notice anything aside from the occasional siren during the day. We would recommend Crosswinds to anyone planning to stay on the Outer Cape. ”

We followed Rons recommendation for a long walk at coastguard beach and sunset on first encounter beach, and had a day exploring the stunning outer cape coastline- race point beach was deserted and beautiful (and cold!) The cottage is close to fort hill which is meant to be good for sunrise and birding, we just enjoyed the views. Would definitely recommend Rock Harbor grill for a great dinner in Orleans! The cottage has everything you need for a break- in winter it felt cosy and welcoming with the fire and such a thoughtful provision of teas, coffee and breakfast treats- the bread was delicious! Such a shame to only be there a weekend as it’s a lovely spot to spend a lazy morning drinking coffee or playing the games provided. Simple, homely and relaxing!”

Had a lovely time at Ron and Andrea's. Checking in was super easy - Ron was around to show us the amenities and offer some suggestions around what to do. The cottage is spacious for 2, and would work for a couple with a kid. The grounds are beautiful - space to sit outside and tons of beautiful flowers. Ron and Andrea had stocked the kitchen with eggs, fresh bread, jam, yogurt, etc., which was really appreciated. I made breakfast every day, and dinner most nights. The location is really close to the bike path, which we loved (although, you do have to cross a major street to get there) and close to ocean side and bay side beaches, as well as close to some fresh water ponds. The one downside is that the cottage is located close to the aforementioned major street, so you will hear car noise.

Ron and Andrea were very considerate and thoughtful. They gave us our privacy but were attentive to our inquiries. The space is accurately represented and we were pleasantly surprised at the great selection of local healthy options. There are also some great personally compiled resources for things to do and places to eat in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay

"Super good reception with suggestions for activities and restaurants. Ron and Andrea seem like some lovely people. Much noise from Route 6 when sitting outside. Inside there is a good soundproofing so no problems with noise at night. "

Fresh homemade bread was waiting for us when we arrived. Ron is very knowledgeable about the area. Very close to Coast Guard Beach and First Encounter Beach. There is plenty of room in the studio.
